Malaysian Chamber of Commerce has, in accordance with the《Provisional Regulations for the Administration of Foreign Chamber of Commerce in the People’s Republic of China》, been registered and set up in year 2003. The chamber has also obtained the Approval Certificate of the Foreign Chamber of Commerce from the Ministry of Commerce of the People's Republic of China and the Registration Certificate of Social Organization Legal Person from the Ministry of Civil Affairs of the People's Republic of China.

The principal objective of Malaysian Chamber of Commerce is to promote economic and trade exchanges and to strengthen the economic relations between China and Malaysia.
